These 5 plugins are excellent additions to your site regardless of the type of site you have. These plugins are also amazing since you can use them for free and they provide significant value to your website. The list is not in any particular order and is by no means a complete list. I will be releasing more blogs covering this topic in the future to cover many different plugins.

Yoast SEO

Yoast SEO is an incredible plugin that provides an excellent way to manage all SEO aspects of your website. You can easily template the title, URL, meta description and more. Indexing your site on multiple search engines is made easy as well. This plugin is too good not to have.

W3 Total Cache

W3 Total Cache is super easy to use. A big part of Google’s ranking algorithm and user experience, in general, is based on speed. Reducing load times on your site can make or break how your users feel about your website. W3 is so simple you just have to activate it and it will do the rest! If you’re picky about settings there are also a lot of options and it has lots of downloads so you should be able to find technical help easily.

Black Studio TinyMCE Widget

TinyMCE is a versatile add-on to your traditional WordPress text editor. It adds a lot of options to help make editing text less painful. There are also plugins to help expand this plugin even further! If you find the WordPress customization option is lacking then this plugin is for you!

Header Footer Code Manager

Lots of snippet editors just allow you to copy and paste the snippet into a text box. This can get quite cluttered and hard to manage. HFCM is a visual editor that allows you to name each snippet and give it a description. You can also turn on or off the snippet without removing it completely from your site. Managing a website is hard enough so it’s great to find plugins to make your life easier!

Really Simple SSL

Really Simple SSL is an easy way to implement an SSL on your site as long as you purchased one for your domain. Just install the plugin and implement the SSL. Having your site secured is incredibly important in Googles algorithms for rankings and it also helps to improve your user experience by creating a more trusting environment.

Conclusion

Adding these plugins to your site will greatly improve your ability to manage many different aspects of the site. They will also be a huge help in Google’s rankings and your user’s overall experience! What are you waiting for, go get those plugins!
